High School Online Grant
Parent-directed, home education families with High School students can now apply to do an online course up to 5 credits that is funded by the Albertan government. This does not include shared responsiblity students.
If you are a traditional home education high school student that is enrolled either with Hope at Home or another traditional home education school, you can register in a 5 credit online course and that $650 will be paid by Alberta Education and will not be taken out of your homeschool funding.
In order to take advantage of this grant, home education students must be registered in the high school online course by September 29th (Semester 1) or by February 28th (Semester 2).
