This is where parents can access supports from providers such as speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, psychology and mental health. The purpose of the program will be "to help parents, as teachers of their children in grades 1 to 12, implement educational curriculum at home by gaining a better understanding of their children's learning needs. This program is supported by Alberta Education through a grant agreement with AISCA, who in turn has contracted Khan Communications to partner with AISCA to provide these services. These services are paid by the grant and therefore there is no cost to the parent. Please use the link KHAN COMMUNICATION SERVICES to complete your registration form, and schedule your first appointment with an intake consultant. We look forward to hearing more about your home education student!
Please note that Alberta Learning has approved this service for home education students Grade 1 and up, whose parents are their primary teachers. If a student has teacher directed programming for a smaller portion of their day (i.e. 1 subject) a consultation may still be scheduled with our intake team.
